Once a year, your indoor wicker chairs will have to undergo a thorough cleaning. Take them outside and wash completely. As usual, use mild soap and a soft brush. Rinse by spraying water using a garden hose. After that, you will have to dry them quickly so they don’t absorb the water. Expose them to the sun or if not use a dryer or a fan for drying.
They have a special oil that repels water, which will prevent the chair from cracking and becoming brittle. There is little need to store these chairs in the colder climates. The key to finding a really good teak chair is looking for the wood grade A. This means there will be no imperfections in the wood or variances of color. Grade A is always kiln-dried, which makes these chairs more durable and sturdy.
For spills and stains, you have to clean them as soon as they happen to prevent them from settling on the fibers. Before liquid spills could settle, you have to wipe them off with a damp sponge.
