Patio and deck furniture is often not carefully thought out. The color and the placing are chosen, but the rest of the look is left to define itself. For many, this is a decent way to go about it but those that are serious about their deck or patio will put some more effort into the decoration.
Outdoor chair cushions can be plain, quilted, stitched or channeled and can either have square or rounded corners. They are made to fit chairs like Adirondack chairs, benches, high-backed club chairs, low-backed club chairs, bar stools, armchairs and many others. There are cushions for almost any kind of chair out there. There are those shaped like throw pillows and there are those with seats and back supports, just like regular chairs. Outdoor chair cushions can also have different colors or prints so they are good as decorative accessories.
These chairs are designed to endure the elements since they are often exposed to extreme heat, moisture, humidity and cold temperatures. So before you pick that furniture that you fell in love with, consider the weather conditions in your area so you can select the ones that are appropriate. You must also check its durability and the type of materials used. You may be looking at something that is offered on sale but not really tough and durable, some are very elegant in design but the materials are cheap and definitely cannot withstand the daily wear and tear.
